How We Price Your Gold & Silver
Spot price is the live, world-market price of raw gold or silver, updated by the second. Bullion items above — rounds, bars, Silver Eagles, Silver Sovereigns, and Gold Eagles — are priced directly off that live spot, using our standard adjustment for each.
Coins and currency are priced a little differently. Some, like 90% silver, are priced as a multiple of face value; scrap karat gold is priced as a percentage of melt value based on weight and purity; and older or collectible coins like Morgan and Peace dollars carry a base price plus additional value for condition and rarity that we're happy to assess in person.

- Spot moves throughout the trading day — the price you're quoted in person is the price at that moment.
- Condition-dependent items (Morgan & Peace dollars, and any graded or rare coin) can be worth more than the base price shown — bring them in or send photos.
